Before I start I'm beginning this at the only place I can. The middle. (Cause ultimitly there is no beginning) We all know the famous line (Most of us any way) "You're mad....You devil. Oh Joxer why deprive yourself to these needy women?" Well take that line, throw it in a tavern, add a little mischeif and there you go! Whala! Have Fun!!

Joxer woke up from sleeping on a tavern table. Helmet in lap he looked around. Only the drunks (which weren't many) were around. The keeper of this tavern was washing out the final glassess getting ready for tommorow. Joxer knew that Xena and Gabby must either be at an inn or camping out some where in a forest and with the speed of Argo he knew he couldn't catch them tomight. He was way to sleepy any way. He got up and headed for the tavern door when he remembered what he had said to himself a few weeks earlier.

"You're mad. You devil. Oh Joxer why deprive yourself to these needy women." he whipsered to himself and smiled. He just about opened the door when there was a gust of wind. (which was pretty abnormal considering no windows were open and the door hadn't been opened yet.) He turned around but saw nothing. He shrugged when a voice spoke,

"Because you have to. You have no other choice." Joxer now turned around to still see nothing but answered,

"What?" very confused by all this.

"Sit down and you will understand." Joxer did as he was told and sat down in a chair very close to the door.

"You have to because Xena will never love you. Your too annoying for her and you think higher of yourself then her. Diana is all ready married and as much as you love Meg you know there is always a chance she'll....well... decied on some one else. Gabrielle wouldn't dare even sit next to you if she had choice. You need some one perfect. You need a goddess." said the mysterious voice.

"Who are you?" asked Joxer knowing it must be some god or goddess speaking to him. Aphrodite appeared before him.

"I am not your destiny but I may say this." and with that she kissed Joxer fully on the lips. Tounges (yes tounges) interwining each other. Aphrodite released on the kiss and Joxer stunned that he had just been kissed by the goddess of love looked at her. He dared question her,

"What was that for?"

"To see if I like it."

"And?" asked Joxer despertly wanting to know if he was good enough for the goddess of love. She kissed him the same kiss again and released.

"You're very good!" said Aphrodite amazed that a mortal could kiss well. "Bye." she said. She waved and dissapeard. No one would beleive this in a million years!
