Incipere

She followed it from a distance making sure she wouldn't be caught. If he killed it, the land would destroy him. He would kill it. The shadow went into the cottage, and lights peered out from the window. She looked in and saw them. They looked normal if it just wasn't for their wings and their eyes. He began to yell at them.

"How dare you defy the laws! You shall die for such insolence!" The man and the woman cowered in a corner. The woman held a bundle in her arms. The blanket was blue. She whispered something to it.

"Do not fear Organa Ortessa. He will do nothing." She shook her head. He would kill them. Green light filled the room, man and woman both dead. The child lived though. He picked up the baby; ready to crush it with his large hands, when she entered.

"My lord, let me kill the child. You have all ready put two out of their misery, and your power must be tired. I will take care of the child." "True. I am tired," he handed her the baby. "Go, destroy, and make sure no blood falls on the land." She nodded, and the man disappeared in a waver of green light. The woman smiled. He was fool to think she would kill an innocent. She and the child disappeared from inside the cottage.

They were on a cliff. More such a landing. She held the child tightly and whispered in its ear:

    Thy sight Oberon doth offend

So Titiania will hasten to amend

    Organa Ortessa dyluce born

Be no more as you were formed.

The child giggled and slowly began to change with green light flowing around her. Her wings vanished, and her ears grew to points. Her hair grew long. The light faded, and there stood a Fai child. She was five even and had brown hair. Her eyes were purple, and she wore a purple tunic. An orange toga went around her from left to right. She looked at Titania with curious eyes.

"Creator, who am I?"

"You, child, are a Fai. Pure and simple. Your weakness is iron. Your name is," she paused. Oberon had surely heard the mother call her child by Organa Ortessa. A different name would surely fit the child. Organa Ortessa sounded very much like a Dyluce name. Ordeysia. Her name would be Ordeysia.

"Your name is Ordeysia. Now sleep here, and a boy will wake you. He will take care of you and teach you the ways of the land." Ordeysia nodded and fell asleep on the landing.

A pixie no more than half an inch tall with translucent wings flew around the child.

"Mab! Come look at this Fai babe," cried the pixie. Another pixie with strawberry colored hair flew next to the other one. Two others followed her. Each had silver hair.

"Moth! Cobweb! She called for me!" cried Mab.

"I called for all of you," said the pixie brushing back some of her deep orange hair.

"What of Mustardseed?" asked the two.

"She will come later," said Mab. The four pixies flew around Ordeysia wondering where she had come from when they heard a voice call out,

"How now fair sprites!" The girls turned, and a boy of 5'1" came to them. His hair was silver, and his ears were at points. He wore a red tunic, deep blue leggings, and a purple toga. His boots were brown and went up to his knees. The pixies blocked his view of the child.

"Why hello Robin!" said the unnamed pixie sweetly. "What brings you here?" she asked.

"Peaseblossom, you know quite well what brings me here. This is my landing such as the Sisters have their own. And do not call me Robin. I despise the name. Puck is a better name for one such as I." The pixies shifted around him but still enough to block his view. "And I think that you are hiding something from me." The girls' heads lowered in shame and they moved away to reveal Ordeysia. Puck's eyes went wide in amazement and he walked over to the girl.

"Sweet Fai babe, wake up so I may please myself upon hearing your voice." The child awoke and quickly stood as if she were in front of royalty.

"Tell me your name."

"Ordeysia."

"Have you no last."

"Aye. It be Moore. Ordeysia Moore. As for your name?"

"I am Puck."

"But the_the pixies call you otherwise. They say the one who swings on the air and plays the flute with ease is none other than Robin Goodfellow," said Ordeysia turning around and imaging a song the flute would play.

"Well yes, I am him all the same, but I like the name Puck much better."

"Let us get pass all the names dear Puck. Tell me, you play the flute?"

"I do."

"Let us hear." Ordeysia asked. The pixies flew around like gnats crying out,

"Oh please Puck! Please!" Puck nodded his head, and his flute appeared in his hands. He began to play a song. It had a rocking rhythm to it. It was gentle and sweet.

When it was finished, Ordeysia asked,

"Has it a name?"

"I never name my songs."

"Then I shall. It shall be called 'Orinoco Flow'."

"I won't remember it." Puck muttered under his breath.

"What do you do on this island for fun?" asked Ordeysia looking over the landing.

"We watch mortals at their foolish work," answered Puck.

"Lovely! How?" Puck swirled his hands and a green circle began to appear. Ordeysia came over to look. In it was a big burly man with tattoo's covering his chest. He wore tight black leather pants. His head was shaven and he had a black beard. He had a wooden pick of some sort in his hand and he slowly touched another man's skin with it. The wooden pick slowly touched over his shoulder blade and the man screwed up his face at the pain. The man had brown hair and looked pretty skinny. After the burly man had gone over a few parts in the skin, he took a feather quill that had a black tip. He slowly went over the parts he had previously gone over with the wooden pick. He seemed to be making a image, and when this was over, the burly man put a piece of cloth on it. After about five minutes, he picked up the cloth and the man had a black dragon tattoo on his shoulder.

"Such horror." Said Puck when it was over. He was about to close the portal when Ordeysia grabbed his wrist.

"What was that thing the man put on the other?"

"A tattoo."

"Can you have it in any color?"

"No. Any symbol in black."

"I want one."

"Ordey_," but before Puck could stop her, she had gone through the portal. Puck followed her.

Ordeysia stood outside the building where the man had gotten the tattoo.

"Well?" asked Puck when he appeared.

"I'm afraid, but not of the pain."

"Well you should!"

"My ears. They're pointed. They'll make fun."

"So change it."

"I don't know how." Puck shook his head and touched just below the tips of her ears. Her ears shrank to human size. She changed the color of her eyes to blue and walked into the building.

"Excuse me. Do you have ink in purple?" asked Ordeysia sitting in the chair.

"Yes. What do you want?"

"A purple heart tattoo on this knee." Said Ordeysia touching her right knee at the exact place where she wanted the tattoo. The man picked up the wooden stick once again and placed it in the fire. He quickly blew it out and it started to smolder. He went over her skin, slowly, picking at the pores to open up. After a few times, he picked up the quill and dipped it into a purple ink well. He put the very tip of the quill in each pore and slowly the heart began to take form. He picked up the wooden pick again and went over the heart. He dipped a piece of cloth in a water dish and then onto the heart. Ordeysia's eyes went wide. She felt immense pain rush through her body. The pain started to die out and when she looked at her knee, a purple heart tattoo was there.

"Thank you." Said Ordeysia as she handed the man some money. The two Fai walked out.

"What will Titania say?"

"Surely she will be appalled."

"No one on all of Avalon dare get one of those." Said Mab flying over Ordeysia's knee.

"Did it hurt?" asked Mustardseed.

"A bit. When he closed up the skin."

"You better put your toga over it and hide it. Lord Oberon will hate this."

"Who's Oberon?" asked Ordeysia. The pixies gasped.

"Lord Oberon!"

"King of all this land!"

"Father to us all."

"Captain of our fairy band."

"And the Puck's master." Finished Lyria.

"So Oberon would be my father?" asked Ordeysia.

"Of course. He's father to most of us anyway."

"And of Titania, my creator?"

"Most of us are her daughters or sons. You are her daughter but as for your father? We don't have any idea."

"You don't look like Oberon."

"Your eyes change color so surely you are a changeling of a different sort."

"Stop bothering her, you boring little sprites. She is Ordeysia Moore, daughter of Titania, more so trickster of the Queen, and I am her teacher. So scurry this way and that so I may speak with this child and see her for who she is." Said Puck interrupting the pixies interrogation. They flew away heading for the forest. Puck came up to Ordeysia.

"They're right. You are not of pure Fai blood. Of who you are we may never know. Mortal or not. Fai or of something else we shall never know. Nonetheless you are a student, and I am teacher. I must teach you the ways of Avalon."

"Who says you are my teacher? Such as you could be brother."

"I am not brother, or shall I call you sister. You arrived on my landing so that makes you my student. It is of Titania's rule."

"Aye my friend. Then teach me all of this island. Of your trickery. Of greeting everyone with proper words and let it be known that someday I, the student, will be better than you, teacher. Master, brother, Puck."
