About the Webmistress

My Livejournal is the best place to get the latest news on what's going with my life. All entries are completely open to the public and the memories section has stuff I either want to remember or feel the information is vaguely important to be "bookmarked" as a memory.
As far as I go, my name is Jacquelyn Joy McKinney and I was born at 10:59pm on October 1, 1983 in West Anaheim, California. If you're into numerology, astrology or any other stuff, that should be sufficent enough information for you to leave and come back knowing more about me than any sane person should.
I like nearly anything.
I dislike people forcing me to like Miyazaki films or Japanese animation. I also dislike fundamentalists of any kind be they of any number of race, religion, creed, sex, disability or gender.
My idea of the perfect day is a thunderstorm outside, a warm house with me inside, a television with full cable television, a mug of perfectly brewed tea and a stack of good books of anything remotely interesting.
I love reading historical fiction or Asian American fiction (or, something written by an Asian American), however I tend to write fantasy or mystery. Sometimes both.
My favorite movies are too numerous to list but "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" and "The Three Amigos!" are on that list among "Peter Pan", "Plunkett and MacCleane" and "Psycho".
